"It would have been easy to prepare a perfect stage for every competition"

ERIC: I don't know how the other [members] feel, but for me personally when we appeared on Road to Kingdom, it felt like we were making a comeback twice a month. Usually, the choreography for a comeback needs to be knife-like — hitting the right angles and matching the beats with perfect timing. It was the same during Road to Kingdom, but we had to be even more trustworthy and make sure everything else was on point. Since then, our teamwork has improved. We thought, “Is there anything we can’t do after all this?” We also gained confidence.

 

"You've already shown a lot of great performances on 'Road to Kingdom'. There might be a lot of pressure participating in 'Kingdom'. What more do you want to show in this competition?"

ERIC: If 'Road to Kingdom' was about whether we "can or cannot," 'Kingdom' feels just as important and similar, but I think we need to do even better. We will do well, too. We're going to give our best, aim for first place, and deliver an even better performance than what we did on Road to Kingdom."

 

“What kind of year do you want 2021 to be like for THE BOYZ?”

ERIC: There's something I always say. Rather than setting a goal of “Let's go all the way here”, I think if The Boyz will do their best every day, we will somehow be able to reach our goals or even exceed them. Rather than aiming for a goal, I will try and do my best instead.
